RULES: Current U. S. Swimming rules and regulations apply. North Texas Swimming safety guidelines will be in effect.
ELIGIBILITY: No entries will be accepted unless the entrant is registered with U.S. Swimming, inc. Every club entered as a team in a North Texas Swimming sanctioned meet must be a member of U. S. Swimming, inc. The USS registration number must be placed on the consolidated entry form.
An athlete may enter any event in which the athlete has achieved a current "A" time standard up to the stated limit. An athlete who has achieved three "A" times may enter any event using their actual best time.
Swimmers under age 9 may enter only those events designated "10 & U".
Swimmers entered in the 500 and 1650 freestyles must supply 1 timer. The 1650's will be swam fastest to slowest with a girl's heat followed by a boy's heat.
AGE: Swimmer's age as of January 17, 1998.
ENTRY LIMIT: A swimmer may swim a maximum of 5 individual events and 2 relays per day.
ENTRY FEES: $1.75 per individual event and $3.50 per relay. Entry fees must accompany consolidated entry forms or disk. Please submit entries on disk. Late entries will be accepted at $3.50 per individual event until 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the meet. Relays will be accepted the day of the meet at the $3.50 rate.
SEEDING: All events will be swam as timed finals. Seeding will be done at the meet, on
deck. Late entries will be seeded according to submitted seed times. Seed times entered should
be the swimmer's best time for that event.
NOTE: The 1650 freestyle will be swum together, but scored separately, seeded fastest
to slowest, alternating women and men.
CHECK-IN: Swimmers and coaches should take notice of the check-in & scratch procedures for the seeding of the meet:

CONCESSIONS: Concessions will be available.
PSYCHE SHEETS: All days will be available at a one-time charge.
FINAL RESULTS: Final results will be mailed to participating teams within 10 days. Additional copies may be ordered at the awards desk for $3.00 per copy.
TIMERS: Each team must provide one timer for every 10 swimmers.
SCORING: Team points will be calculated, but no team awards will be given.

AWARDS: Ribbons for places 1-8 in individual events and places 1-3 in relays. Certificates will be given for swimmers achieving: "A" time, "BB", time and "B" time.
SANCTION: Held under sanction of United States Swimming, Inc. The sanction Number is
004-98
In granting this sanction, it is understood and agreed that U.S. Swimming, inc. North Texas
Swimming, inc., Lewisville Aquatic Club, the L.I.S.D. and all meet officials shall be free from
any liability or claims for damages arising by reason of injuries to anyone during the course
of its meet. Damages to the facility, when proven will cause the offending swimmer, if
unattached, or the offending swimmer's club if attached, to be held accountable for repairs.
DEADLINE: All entries are due by January 7, 1998 to avoid late entry fees. Make checks payable to Lewisville Aquatic Club.
