The Junior II group is for swimmers ages 11-14 and will act as a transition group from Age Group to Senior level swimming. Practices will focus on emphasizing technique, building endurance/speed, and learning advanced race strategies. Dry land training will focus on core strength and swimming specific exercises. |

Six practices are offered each week. Swimmers are encouraged to make three per week. |
Qualifications |
New swimmers must try out in September. Coaches will look for four legal strokes and may time swimmers in a few events. |
Meet Requirements |
Swimmers in the Junior II group are encouraged to attend one swim meet a month and all championship meets for which they qualify (MIT in December, Junior Olympics in March and July, and the Silver and Bronze Championships in the spring.) |
