The Rivercrest Swim Team was established in May 2007 as a family oriented, developmental, competitive swim team. Our goal is to provide a safe and healthy environment for the children in our community; to enjoy a competitive recreation sport; learn valuable life lessons of sportsmanship and teamwork; enhance personal improvement and team spirit; to have fun and develop a love of swimming.
The Riptide belong to the Old Dominion Swim League (ODSL), a summer league comprised of approximately 25 swim teams from Loudoun County. The team is comprised of about 95 swimmers between the ages of 5-18. Experienced coaches provide all swimmers with a safe and instructive environment and challenge them to reach their personal and team goals. We also have a Mini Waves program in which Rivercrest kids who are not yet swim team-ready can learn the skills to be safe in the pool and to help them become a Riptide swimmer one day.
Practices and home meets take place at the Rivercrest Community Pool.
