Group 1

This is our entry level/pre-competitive group, for our youngest swimmers and swimmers new to the sport. In group 1, you will learn the basics of the sport and work to develop and improve basic formwork and racing skills.

Workout Days/Times: (you pick the days your swimmer attends)
M/T/W/Th: 6:30 - 7:30pm @ RPI

Requirements:
There are no practice or meet requirements for Group 1


Group 2

This is the first of our two main competitive groups. Swimmers in this group will work to start developing a higher endurance level and more advanced form techniques in preparation to move to the most advanced group as they age up through our program. Swimmers in this group will typically be ages 12 and under will be expected to participate in meets.

Workout Days/Times:
M/Tu/W/Th, 6:30 - 8:30pm @ RPI
Saturday: Typically 9:00 - 11:00 am or 4:00 - 6:00pm @ RPI

Summer Practices (Starting July 1)
M/T/W/T - 6:30 - 8:30pm @RPI 
M/W/F 6:30 - 8:30am @Colonie Town Pool 

Requirements:
Recommended to attend 4 practices or more per week
Attend meets that Bluefins are participating in and the seasonal championships meets


Group 3

This is our second and top competitive group. Swimmers in this group are typically 13 and older. In this group we will be working with each swimmer to push the boundaries of their own abilities, to be able to compete at the highest level they can reach. Swimmers will be expected to commit to a more rigorous training schedule and will be expected to have consistent practice/meet attendance.

M/Tu/W/Th, 6:30 - 8:[email protected] RPI
Friday 5:30 - 7:30pm @  Troy High School
Saturday: Typically 9:00 - 11:00 am or 4:00 - 6:00pm @ RPI
