CARDIAC CLASSIC INFORMATION

First Step - T-shirt folding

Next Step - Packet Prep

  • The next step is to insert racing bibs, chips, pins and instruction sheets into the packets, attach labels and file/store the packets for pick-up.
  • We will start packet preparation sessions on Thursday, November 8th and continue on selected practice nights and Saturday mornings, as scheduled, through Nov. 20th.
  • These packet preparation sessions will be held during scheduled practices at the Ellis Health Center (McClellan Campus). The packet prep sessions will be held in Room 202 of the Monsignor Keane Pavilion located inside the Ellis Health Center. This hospital facility was formerly known as St. Clare’s Hospital and is located by the Price Chopper on Eastern Parkway in Schenectady. Please click here for more detailed directions to Ellis Health Center and to Room 202 of the Monsignor Keane Pavilion. This location for packet preparation is the same as last year.
  • The Ellis Health Center is only a 20-minute drive from the BH-BL pool and only a 5-minute drive from the Union College pool.
  • We certainly could use your help! Please sign up if you're planning on coming.  You can pitch in at any time during these practices, even if it for 30-45 minutes, or longer if you wish.

Packet Pick Up

  • Packet pick-up on Sunday, 11/18 and Wednesday, 11/21 will be held at the Ellis Health Center (McClellan Campus).
  • Packet pick-up on Thanksgiving morning, in Schenectady’s Central Park.
  • Please check the website for updates!

  • We will need approximately:

Approximately 60 volunteers are needed on Thanksgiving morning!

All Race Day Volunteers (Thanksgiving morning) will receive a race t-shirt and should expect to be finished by about 10:30 am.
