2023 Spring / Summer
Welcome to Schenectady-Saratoga Swim Club Online registration for the 2023 Long Course Season! We are pleased to offer electronic payment processing and registration. The process is simple for both new and returning members. You'll have access to your own private account that will enable you to easily declare for swim meets, sign-up for jobs, see your children's swim time histories, maintain your own contact information, and more.
With the exception of the pre-competitive group, all swimmers in all competitive groups are expected to swim attached, attend meets and compete as a Shark, including college swimmers.
SPRING session is 8 weeks, begins the week of April 17th and runs until June 10th. Sharks will be off over spring break.
SUMMER session is 8 weeks, begins the week of June 12th and runs until August 5th.
Our tryouts for the Spring and Summer session will be March 18th, times and location are on the Shark Website.
Current active swimmers are not required to try out, but are always encouraged to bring a friend!
Long Course meets require a bit more travel in the Spring & Summer Season than we're used to in the Fall & Winter. The Long Course Season Meet Schedule will be posted soon.
When you are registering your swimmer(s) you can select Spring only, Summer only or Spring and Summer. Once the registration is processed and your swimmer(s) is in the appropriate practice group(s), your account will be charged the registration fee on May 1st for Spring Session and June 1st for Summer Session. NO MONEY is due upon submitting registration. Your balance will be zero in this process.
- If your swimmer(s) has never been USA Swimming registered, you will be required to contact the team registrar [email protected] to obtain information on registering your swimmer with USA Swimming.
- If your swimmer(s) is USA Swimming registered and transferring to the Sharks from another team, the transfer fee is $5.
- If your Shark graduate is swimming at college, he/she is welcome to train AND COMPETE with the Sharks when he/she returns home for the summer. College swimmers may not simply train without competing during the Long Course Season. The registration is the same link and process. College swimmers pay only for the summer session but may start attending practices as soon as they arrive home.
