CAC Booster Club
Chugiak Aquatics Club is a coach-owned team, but many of its activities are supported by Chugiak Aquatics Club Boosters, which is a 501c3 not-for-profit corporation. The Booster Club has elected Board Members that run monthly meetings (that any member may attend). The Booster Board and members (you) actively work to support our program and competitive swimming in Alaska by:

Fundraising for team travel, team equipment, coach training, etc.

Operating, organizing, and managing swim meets

Organizing travel, team functions, fundraisers, etc.

Advocating with agencies

Participating with local and statewide planning committees

Providing a forum and launch pad for member ideas and concerns
Without the efforts of this organization, the individual cost of participating for our families and athletes would be considerably higher. The success of USA Swimming, local swimming, and our club depends on the involvement of our wonderful Booster Club members. Thanks to you, we continue to give our swimmers a strong and multifaceted swim program.
How to Join the Booster Club
Once your swimmer joins the team, you are automatically a part of the Booster Club!
Members are encouraged to participate in volunteer activities and fundraising whenever possible.
Opportunities for involvement are frequently communicated so please show your support for the team by signing up when you receive a volunteer sign-up invitation.
Booster Meetings & Annual Board Elections
Anyone in the Booster Club can attend Board meetings (in-person or virtual). Please see Jill Blackstone for the latest information on meeting times or email [email protected]
To become a part of the Booster Board, club members need to be nominated and elected. Booster Board elections are held every May.
