Safe Sport & Team Policies

Chugiak Aquatics Club is committed to keeping our athletes safe. In accordance with USA Swimming’s Safe Sport program, CAC has detailed a number of policies to ensure our swimmers can thrive in a fun and healthy environment.

For more information on Safe Sport, please reference the USA Swimming Safe Sport website.

Chugiak Aquatics Club Code of Conduct
To truly succeed as a team, there must be cooperation from swimmers, parents, and coaches on appropriate conduct.  See our Codes of Conduct for swimmers, parents, and coaches.

Anti-Bullying Policy
While bullying does not have a place in CAC or the swimming community, it is unfortunately common in clubs, schools, and other organizations. Please see our Action Plan to learn how we combat bullying.

Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (MAAPP)
To safeguard athletes and prevent opportunities for abuse to occur, the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (MAAPP) addresses one-on-one interactions, social media and electronic communications, travel policies, locker room and changing area behaviors, and interactions with massage therapists.
