Our Coaches

Anne Williams Head Coach

Anne Williams has been a swim coach for nearly 30 years.  She became the coach, then coach owner of the Chugiak Aquatics Club in 2003 when a swim family arrived on her door step asking if she would consider coaching the team.   She began with ten swimmers and has developed the team to provide coaching and swim instruction to the current count of 200 athletes.  Coach Anne is an avid runner and has competed in over 50 marathons.  She loves the outdoors and is devoted to her family.

Patrick Garrity Assistant Coach

Patrick has worked in aquatics as a manager, instructor or coach for nearly 43 years and takes great joy in watching swimmers learn and grow.  

Beverley Williams Assistant Coach

Bev is proud to be on the CAC Chinook coaching staff.  With over a decade of coaching experience Coach Bev enjoys sharing her belief that being on our swim team provides the best of both worlds; individual and team sports. Athletes have the opportunity to set personal goals for improvement and also support teammates and participate in relays and work on group skills as a means to better themselves and the team.

Colny Tucker Assistant Coach

Colny Tucker has coached age group club swimming since retiring from the Anchorage School District in 2004.  She enjoys a lifetime love of swimming, which she continues with her participation in the United States Master's program.  Her goal in coaching is to teach skills and technique that will instill that same love of the sport in her athletes.

William Carpenter Assistant Coach

Bryce Carpenter is a junior in college currently attending UAA.  With 13 years of swimming experience, multiple national meet swims and state championship medals he provides excellent critique and a keen eye in stroke technique. Bryce joined the CAC staff in September of 2017.  He is also an assistant coach for Eagle River High School.
