Our Coaches
Anne Williams has been a swim coach for nearly 30 years. She became the coach — and later coach-owner — of the Chugiak Aquatics Club in 2003 when a swim family approached her about coaching the team. She began with ten swimmers, and has since developed the program to provide coaching and swim instruction at every level of competition to the current count of ~200 athletes.
Coach Anne is an avid runner and has competed in over 50 marathons.
When she’s not on deck, you might find her on one of
Alaska’s many trails.
Patrick has worked in aquatics as a manager, instructor, or coach for over two decades. He’s also served as a teacher, principal, and administrator with the Anchorage School District since the early ‘90s. Coach Pat enjoys focusing on stroke technique, and takes great joy in watching swimmers learn and grow.
Colny Tucker has coached age group club swimming since retiring from the Anchorage School District in 2004. She enjoys a lifelong love of swimming, which she continues with her participation in the United States Masters Swimming program. Her goal in coaching is to teach skills and technique that will instill that same love of the sport in her athletes.
With over a decade of swimming experience, multiple national meet swims and state championship medals, Coach William "Bryce" Carpenter provides excellent critique and a keen eye in stroke technique. Bryce joined the CAC staff in September of 2017. He is also an assistant coach for Eagle River High School.
I'm proud to be returning to Chugiak Aquatics as a coach after seven years training in the program as an athlete. During my time in Alaska Swimming I served as an Athlete Representative and Governance Committee Member. I believe in teaching strong technique to swimmers while encouraging athletes of allages to set goals and work hard to reach them.
