Becoming an Official
Volunteering to become a Meet Official is a great way to become involved in our team. As a meet official, you will be responsible for helping insure the integrity of the sport of swimming while filling a vital role in our organization.

Steps will include:
- Registering as a non-athlete member of USA Swimming. https://www.teamunify.com/wzaslsc/UserFiles/Image/QuickUpload/asi-2021-application---apprentice-official_036854.pdf
- Successfully pass a background check through USA Swimming.
- Attend a local clinic or partiicpate in online training via the USA Swimming website.
- Take an official’s test on the USA Swimming website.
- Participate in walk-alongs at local sanctioned meets and time trials.
