Wasilla Waves COVID-19 policy

In adherence to the CDC guidelines; if there is a POSITIVE COVID-19 case in a training group, ALL immediate group members that have been potentially exposed will need to follow a 7-day isolation period.  Upon the completion of a SYMPTOM-FREE 7-day isolation period, the swimmer can take a COVID-19 test.  If the test is NEGATIVE and the swimmer is/has not experienced symptoms, the swimmer may return to the water.  However; if the swimmer chooses not to take a COVID-19 test, the swimmer will then need to complete a 14-day SYMPTOM-FREE isolation period.  At that time, the swimmer is welcome back to the water.

COVID-19 symptoms include but are not limited too: fever of 100.4, chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and/or diarrhea.
