It is each family’s responsibility to notify the ALGA Parent Board (minimum of one week’s notice) if a swimmer will be quitting the team. In the absence of such notice, monthly dues will continue to be assessed and the family will be responsible for paying them, whether or not the swimmer is attending practice.

If the swimmer is quitting on or after February 1, the family will be responsible for the $50 fundraising commitment as well as any fees related to unmet volunteer hours.

Note that when swimmers quit the team, their spots in their practice groups are NOT held for them and there is no guarantee that there will be room for them to re-join the team at a later date.
