2021-2022 BETHEL PARK RECREATION MASTERS SWIM TEAM

Bethel Park Recreation Masters is our United States Masters Swimming (USMS) sanctioned swim team.  It is for athletes 18 & older who are looking to use swimming as a way to stay in shape or even train to compete in USMS sanctioned events.  Athletes of all skill levels are welcomed to attend.  Our team is coached by Kathy Strock ([email protected]) and you are welcome to email her with any questions you might have.

PRACTICE SCHEDULE

Practices take place on Monday and Wednesday from 5:30-6:45 a.m. and Saturday from 6:00-7:30 a.m.  Athletes can park in the student lot (adjacent to the football stadium) and enter the building through the Athletics Entrance.  Since practices take place in the morning before the facility opens, a coach will be at the door to let you in roughly 15 minutes prior to the start of practice.  During the school year, on Monday & Wednesday, cars must leave the student lot prior to 7:00 a.m. so students assigned to that spot can park for school.  If you are planning to exit the building later than 7:00 a.m., please park in the teacher lot across from the main entrance of the high school.  All athletes must exit the building prior to 7:15 a.m.

HOW TO REGISTER

Athletes must also be registered with USMS.  You can register at www.usms.org.  You can join our training group (BPRM) or remain unattached.  Prior to registering, you are welcome to try it out for a week to see if the training schedule works for you.

PAYMENT & COST

The 2020-2021 season begins on August 30, 2021.  The payment options are below.  We accept cash or checks made out to Bethel Park Recreation.  Payment is due upon sign in (on deck at the pool).

Monthly Rate: $45.00

Season Rate (School Year Only): $400.00
