ABOUT KW

The Fox Chapel Killer Whales is a non-profit, year-round swim club located in Pittsburgh, PA that provides swimmers the opportunity to achieve their maximum potential — from novice to national caliber — from pre-schoolers to masters. We help swimmers develop a strong work ethic, positive attitude, high self-esteem, team unity, and integrity.

We are proud to offer four swim programs for swimmers of all ages and abilities: Swim School for beginners, Swim Team for competitive swimmers, a High School Pre-Season Conditioning program, and the Flying Fish Heads for masters swimmers.

Our home base is the Fox Chapel Area High School pool, and we swim at other indoor and outdoor pools around the Fox Chapel area, depending on the season.

Dan Taylor, the head coach of the Killer Whales, is joined by a team of dedicated and talented coaching staff who have trained swimmers at every level — from young beginners to Sectional, Junior National, Senior National, and Olympic Trial qualifying times.

The Killer Whales is parent-operated by volunteers and parent-funded. Contact us via email and follow us on Social Media.
