Mt. Lebanon Aqua Club provides swim programs to community members of all ages throughout the year.  Programs are held at the Mt. Lebanon High School indoor pool during the months of September through May and at the Mt. Lebanon outdoor pool during the summer (June through August).  Programs offered by MLAC are described briefly here.  Please see corresponding menu item under "Swim Programs" for more information, schedule, and registration details.


Swim lessons for children ages 4 to 18. Children must be able to readily get into the water, hold onto the side of the pool, go to an instructor easily. Lessons follow a self-paced Red Cross program.  Sessions last 30 minutes.  The Learn To Swim program is held weekly on Saturdays in the Fall, Winter and Spring (8-10 week sessions) and weekday mornings in the Summer (two week sessions).


Pre-competitive swimming programs for children ages 6 to 14. These teams provide swimmers with the opportunity to improve swimming skills or to try out swimming in a team environment with the option of competing in swim meets. Swimmers must have basic stroke ability, and be able to swim at least 25 yards in freestyle and backstroke to be eligible for these teams.  Practices consist of lap swimming.  More information can be found under the "Teams" menu. 


The MLAC Master's Swim Program is open to adult swimmers age 18 and over of any ability.  Master's coaches provide leveled workouts dependent upon the time requirements and ability of the master's swimmer.  September through May, Masters practice indoor at the 25-yard, 8-lane, Mt. Lebanon High School indoor pool on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings.  Summer practices are held at the long course, 9-lane Mt. Lebanon outdoor pool in the summers.


The MLAC College Swim Program is open to college swimmers currently enrolled in college and competing with a collegiate swimming program.  College swimmers have the opportunity to train with our MLAC team and coaches over school breaks & the summer and may compete with MLAC in swim meets if desired (additional meet entry fees will apply).  Swimmers have the option of practicing with the MLAC Master's team or with the Shark (senior) group during assigned MLAC practices (see practice schedule for details).  Swimmers practice in 9 lanes and swim long course yards.
