According to the Centers for Disease Control, 37 percent of American adults can’t swim the length of a pool, which puts them at risk of being one of the 10 people who drown every day in the United States. Swimming skills can save your life both by preventing drowning, and by providing you with the skills needed to make swimming for fitness part of a long-term healthy lifestyle.

Whether you are looking to learn how to swim or learn how to swim better we can help you!

Classes take place at the Mt. Lebanon High School indoor pool.

  • Beginner - Swimmers in the Beginner Level will learn basic swim skills (entering the pool safely, bobs, blowing bubbles, floating, treading) & gain confidence in the water.  This level is perfect for someone new to swimming and wants to learn the basics.
  • Intermediate - Swimmers that are comfortable swimming basic freestyle are ready for our Advanced Level.  You will be introduced to the four competitive swim strokes allowing students to improve their stroke technique and expand their comfort level in the water.  Must be able to swim the length of the pool.
