LIFEGUARDING CERTIFICATION COURSE With CPR/AED and FIRST AID TRAINING

We have a blended learning lifeguarding class for anyone who is 15 or older as of June 18th. You will receive a 2 year American Red Cross Lifeguarding,CPR, First AID, AED certification. Must be able to swim 300 yards freestyle or breastroke. Swim 20 yards retrieve a 10lb brick from the bottom of the pool and return it to the wall. Tread for 2 minutes
New certifcations are $200
Recertifications are $150

Once you are registered for the class you will receive a link within 24 hours for an online portion of the class with through the Red Cross. Once you complete the online portion you will email back your results to [email protected] at which time you will receive a link to the zoom portion of the class. There are 4 zoom meetings we will have June 15th-18th 6:00-8:00pm that you must attend as well as a one day in person once pools are open. The in person portion is tbd once a pool is ready to host.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Applicant must be at least 15 years old as of first day of class (proof of age required)

Applicant must have the ability to swim 300 yards freestyle/breaststroke (under no time limitation)

Applicant must be able to complete the deep-water brick test in 1 minute 40 seconds; (jump/dive into the deep end of the pool to retrieve a weighted brick and carry/swim with it to the shallow end)
