Water Aerobics

Water aerobics classes take place at the Mount Lebanon high school pool on Tuesdays, 8-9pm.  The pool is about 81 degrees, perfect for active individuals. The sessions are normally 8 weeks and the cost is $80/session. It's a coed class with music and lots of fun and exercise with great people.

Water aerobics uses the natural resistance and buoyancy of water against your body to provide a wide variety of conditioning activity. No swimming is required in water aerobics, and floatation devices are used frequently. Water exercise helps increase your energy, stamina and strength -- and it is a healthy way to cool off in the summer. Before starting an aerobics routine or class, check with your health care professional.

The instructor, Laura Teufel, has been teaching water aerobics at Mt. Lebanon High School for years, is fun and enthusiastic.
