Welcome Kraken swimmers! We are looking forward to a fun and exciting 2023 summer swim season. Registration will open to currently registered Developmental group swimmers and all kids NOT currently registered with PEAQ on May 1. Anyone currently registered in AG 1 or above does NOT have to register for Kraken if you want to participate in Kraken meets. Coach Royce or Coach Becky will be sending separate info out to AG1- Junior families regarding that.
The Kraken is our 2023 summer league swim team based out of Canon McMillan High School. Our mission is to promote competitive swimming in our community by providing an opportunity for kids to learn life-long skills, while participating in an exciting team sport. Our team of coaches will work hard to develop stroke technique and proficiency and to encourage good sportsmanship in a fun, team-oriented environment.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Swimmers must be ages 5 through 14 as of June 1, 2022.
2. Swimmers must be able to independently swim 25 yards (one length of the pool) of freestyle.
3. If your swimmer is not a current club swimmer, please email Coach Becky ([email protected]) sometime in May to schedule an evaluation.
COST
Fees are $180. All swimmers will receive a Kraken cap, which is included in the registration fee.
- If your swimmer is CURRENTLY a member of PEAQ and is interested in Kraken, look for communication from Coach Becky on how to sign up. You will sign up separately.

Thursday, June 29th Bethel Park @ Kraken (HOME MEET) 5:00 warm ups, 6 pm start
Tuesday, July 11th Kraken @ USC 5:30 pm warm ups, 6 pm start
Monday, July 17th Peters @ Kraken (HOME MEET) 5:00 warm ups, 6 pm start
Wednesday, July 26th CHAMPIONSHIPS @ Peters. Warm up times Times TBD. 6 pm start
