Registration & Fees

PTSC swim season runs annually from September 1st through August 31st. All returning swimmers must register online before they can participate in practices, meets, or other PTSC activities. All new swimmers must be evaluated and assigned to a practice group before registering, please email [email protected] to schedule an evaluation.


Annual dues vary by group. Annual dues for National and Mako group are $855, Orca group is $755, Dolphin group is $705 and Piranha group is $655. 

Fundraising Fee

$250 for 1st swimmer, $175 for second swimmer and $75 for third swimmer (up to a family maximum of $500) that may be earned back and applied towards the next season's fundraising fee through the Scrip gift card fundraising program. This fee will be assessed to each member's account at registration. Returning members are responsible for this amount less whatever Scrip credit earned in the prior season. New members will be responsible for the entire amount. 

Volunteer Fee

A $200 per family charge that may be earned back through volunteer service at a rate of $10 per hour and applied towards the next season's volunteer fee. This fee will be assessed to each member's account at registration. Returning members are responsible for this amount less whatever volunteer credit earned in the prior season. New members will be responsible for the entire amount. 

Payment Plan

The dues, fundraising and volunteer fee must be paid by credit/debit card and can be paid 1) in full at the time of registration or 2) by payment plan in 3 payments. The first payment is due at registration then the remaining two payments due on the 1st of November and the 1st of January.

All other fees below cannot be included in the payment plan and are due at registration. Returning members must also pay any outstanding balances from the prior season when they register. Dues are non-refundable after a two-week trial period. As the season progresses dues may be prorated, but the fees below cannot be prorated.

Swimmers must be registered and up to date on payments before being permitted to participate in practices, meets, meetings, or other activities with PTSC. The fees cover the season beginning September 1 through August 31. No discounts or refunds can be given for missed practices, meets, or other club activities due to illness, involvement in other activities, inability to attend practices or any other reason. Members who will not be returning after the current season are still responsible for any meet fees still owed to PTSC.

USA/AMS Swimming Registration Fee

PTSC is a member of USA Swimming and the Allegheny Mountain Swimming LSC. As a result, all PTSC members are required to pay the USA/AMS Swimming Athlete registration fee of $88 per swimmer. This registration provides many benefits and swimming-related portals, as well as excess accident and liability coverage. This fee is non-refundable. Members will pay directly to USA Swimming through their Online Member Registration.

PTSC Registration Fee

The PTSC registration fee of $50 per family provides the membership with online access to team information and management of your account. In addition, each swimmer is provided a team t-shirt and swim cap. This fee is non-refundable and due at time of registration.

Non-Resident Fee

A $50 per family fee will be applied to those who reside outside of Peters Township school district at the time of registration.

Meet Entry Fees

"Splash Fees" will be invoiced three times a year.  Specifically, they will be charged on January 1 for all splash fees incurred from September through December, on May 1 for fees incurred from January 1 through the end of the short course season April, and August 1 for all fees incurred in the long course season through July 31.  Splash fees are fees incurred each time a swimmer competes in an event at a meet.  While the fees might vary depending upon the host team's set-up, they are typically $5 per swimmer per event.  The exact amount will be listed on the meet announcement which will be posted on line for members to review.

Team Suits & Equipment

Each swimmer will be given a team t-shirt and swim cap which are expected to be worn at swim meets. Team suits are recommended for meets and may be purchased through a recommended vendor. Training equipment (googles, fins, pull buoy, kick board, paddles) will be required and can be purchased online via our team store.  We can no longer utilize shared equipment at the pool due to CDC COVID-19 guidelines.

Delinquency Policy:

All dues and fees are expected to be paid prior to the due date established. Failure to pay fees on a timely basis will result in termination of club privileges, including practices, meets, and other team functions until such time as all fees are paid. For every month that scheduled payments are not met, an additional $25 per month will be added to the balance due before participation privileges will be reinstated. Member family will be responsible for any and all unpaid fees. Please be sure the club always has up-to-date credit card information, so it is not charged a processing fee for an out of date credit card.

Returning Members are those swimmers who have previously been registered as club members any time within the previous two (2) swim seasons. Returning members are responsible for the full amount of the annual dues regardless of when during the swim season registration actually takes place.
