Jessie Tobin competes at NE Senior Championships

 
  Jessie Tobin competed at the New England Senior Championships, hosted at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island the weekend of July 18-20. This was Jessie's first Senior level competition in New England, and she had a excellent performance. On the first day Jessie swam the 200 free, where she left prelims with a best time of 2:15.48. This time was a 3 second improvement from her previous best. On the second day, Jessie swam both the 100 free and 400 free events. The 100 free was another best time with a 1:02.65; down from 1:03.3 the summer before. In her 400 free, Jessie was right on her best time with a 4:43.83. Heading into the last day Jessie had the 800 free and she left nothing in the pool. Crushing her previous best of 10:16, Jessie swam a 9:38.35. Of her swims, the 800 was her highest finish; where she placed within the top 24 swimmers in the event.
