SENECA VALLEY SWIM CLUB ONLINE REGISTRATION / 2021-2022Season

***please read this message in its entirety for it contains a lot of important information***

Welcome to the Seneca Valley Swim Club Online Registration for the 2021-2022 swim season. We are pleased to offer online registration. The process is simple for both new and returning members. Once registered and using your individualized password, you'll gain access to your private account that will enable you to easily declare for swim meets, see your children's swim times histories, maintain your own contact information, sign-up for volunteer requirements, and much more!

The coaches and swim board of the Seneca Valley Swim Club look forward to your participation with the Seneca Valley Swim Club and are ready for another great season and look forward to seeing everyone at the Kick-off Meeting on Wednesday, Sept 1st in the IHS Cafeteria at 7-8:30pm.

Information follows regarding the 2021-2022 swim season:

***SVSC will support a multi-swimmer family who chooses to have their swimmers’ swim on more than one Allegheny Mountain Swimming team however the parents/guardians are not permitted to hold a board position with SVSC.   

***SVSC is an annual club with annual financial obligations.  This means that if your swimmer joins the club prior to January 1, 2022, your fees will not be prorated.  If your swimmer joins after January 1, 2022, SVSC will prorate the fees into a one or two time payment plan. A processing fee of $50 will be charged for any new registration after January 1, 2022.

***SVSC will require an individual travel surcharge of $25 per individual swimmer per travel meet during the 2021-2022 Season to offset the travel expenses of the coaching staff. 

SVSC Swim Club Dues/Fees:

All dues/fees are paid annually and are established by Swim Group. For a detailed group description, please click on "Swim Groups" tab on home page. New swimmers must be evaluated by our coaching staff for Club participation and group placement.

New and Returning Members:  All Dues/Fees must be paid in full by January 31, 2022 and are non-refundable.  Registration must be completed on or before September 2, 2021 or before your first practice.

Our season begins on September 1 and ends on or around August 1, 2020.  We traditionally break for 2-3 weeks at the end of March and/or beginning of April and we also break in August which equates to 10 months of swimming and we ask for that commitment as you are registering.

** AMS/USA Athlete fee--The required AMS/USA Swimming Athlete registration fee of $86 per swimmer provides many benefits to competing in USA Swimming sanctioned swim meets as well as accident and liability coverage upon registration and through December 31, 2022. This portion of your fee is non-refundable and due at time of registration as it goes directly to our Local Swimming Committee, Allegheny Mountain Swimming ($20) & our national governing body USA Swimming ($66).

** Meet fees, Equipment, Clothing, and Other Expenses--Fees for ongoing expenses will be invoiced monthly when charges are incurred by the swimmer or swim family on the 1st of each month.

** Out of District Fee- $300 per swimmer per year.  (Effective for 2016-2017 Season:  SVSC will no longer have a Senior B group which included out-of-district and/or non-varsity swimmers. As a result of this change, our membership is being informed that out-of-district swimmers will max out at the Gold Level Group.)   Senior group is reserved for SVSD Students who will be in 9th grade or greater after SC Season and can meet the swim standards set forth by the coaching staff and are on the SV Varsity School Team. 

**Additional fees - Additinal fees may be assessed in the future to cover costs for COVID cleaning fee, additional pool rental fees, etc. 

** SVSC Volunteers when we HOST a USA sanctioned meet:  As a part of our membership, all family accounts are required to volunteer for 2-3 meet sessions per SVSC hosted meet. (Board reserves the right to increase this # if extra volunteers needed).  The 2-3 meet sessions required per family per meet must be completed in their entirety in order to fulfill this requirement.  A $20 donation to concessions for each hosted meet is also a part of this requirement. If we run a second or third meet, we will ask for additional donations of $20. This is a requirement whether or not your child is swimming in the hosted meet(s). We will be hosting a meet during the short course season.  Refer to the events page for more information regarding our October 2-3, 2021 swim meet and any additional meets we host during the 2021-22 Seasons. 

**TPA - Total Pursuit Athletics - SVSC has formed a partnership with Total Pursuit Athletics (TPA) for additional dryland and agility training for swimmers in Novice thru Senior practice groups.  Participation in TPA workouts is voluntary and billed directly through TPA.  You must set up a separate account with TPA to participate.

 ** All family accounts are required to set up Auto Bill Pay to pay your monthly invoice by putting a credit card on file or using auto bill pay via your checking account (ACH). 

** SVSC Cap & Team T-shirt: Each swimmer will get a team cap and team t-shirt

** Optional: please take a minute and fill in your swimmer's ethnicity under their profile - USA swimming likes to update this information.

** Required: Please take a minute and fill out your health insurance information for your account.

** Required: Please take a minute and set up your account for Text Messaging to recieve text alerts from the Coaches & Board.  You will be required to activate the account by confirming receipt.  

SVSC will follow the Seneca Valley School District Health and Safety Plan regarding COVID 19.
