Due to COVID-19 the WHAT Swim School program has been put temporarily on hold. We hope that as the school year gets rolling and the efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19 continue we will, at some point, be able to resume offering swim lessons to our community. We will continue to work with the district and will let you know as soon as we are able to restart our program.
- $100 for 8 group lesson
Important: COVID-19 Safety Protocols for Swim School:
In order to make sure we follow all guidelines and respect the rules and regulations set forth by the CDC, Allegheny County Health Dept as well as the Woodland Hills School District, WHAT Swim School has put in place the following procedures:
- Parents will bring their children to the back of the school and drop them off at the metal doors at the back of the pool nearest the stadium where the instructors or lifeguard will greet them. (Due to construction on the stadium you may need to park further down and walk them to the door. Under no circumstances will anyone enter through the school. The entrances to the school are under construction and will not be open.)
- No parents will be permitted into the facility (pool deck or building) unless there is an emergency. This allows us to keep our numbers down and maintain our best opportunity for social distancing.
- Swimmers over 2 years old are asked to wear a mask to and from the pool deck and should if possible, practice social distancing when entering and exiting the pool. No mask is required on the pool deck itself.
- Our locker rooms will only be open for bathroom emergencies so please have them changed and ready to swim. Upon exiting the pool, they will not be permitted to change in the locker rooms. Swimmers can pull clothes over their swim suits or wrap in a towel to exit through the same back pool doors.
- If you or your child is not feeling well in any way, you must keep your child at home to protect the safety of others as well as the facility. Any child that complains of any illness will be immediately removed and a parent/guardian will pick them up ASAP.
- All parents will be required to sign liability waivers for the school district and WHAT Swim School before entering the facility.
