WHAT Membership Details
Year-Round Athlete .  Flex Athlete . 30-Day Trial . WHHS Swimmer . Tryouts for New Members

Join WHAT Aug – July with our rolling registration process for short and long-course seasons. Pay in full as a year-round athlete when registering in September or October and receive a 5% discount. You can also choose to opt into a monthly payment plan. The USA Swimming Membership Fee and WHAT Annual Registration Fee are fixed rates regardless of when you join the team. In District Discount

WHAT is pleased to offer a small, in-district discount to our Woodland Hills swimmers who commit to being a year-round athlete. Discount will be applied at registration checkout. 

Year-Round: $50 silver/gold/senior; $25 bronze

Volunteer Fees

A $300.00 Volunteer Check and a $50 Volunteer Food Donation Check will be collected at the time of registration. These checks "WILL NOT" be cashed as long as members fulfill their volunteer and donation requirements as set forth by the team at the beginning of the season.  This is separate from the registration credit card or check payment. See Volunteering for more information.

WHAT Swim cap

At registration, you will be able to purchase WHAT swim caps. Swimmer who register early will receive personalized swim caps with their last name. Registrants after September receive plain WHAT swim caps. Pricing is $20 for two caps.

Year-Round Athlete

Swim up to six practices each week and participate in unlimited meets, including any qualifying championship meets. This is the best option for swimmers who plan to swim year-round and compete on a regular basis.

Flex Athlete

Swim up to two practices per week and participate in two sanctioned meets, excluding LSC Championship meets and above. This is the best option for swimmers who can only commit to certain days and want to try out the team or are just getting into swimming. There is no in-district discount.

Bronze swim level (shorter practices)  $65/month 

Silver, Gold, Senior Levels (longer practices)  $75/month

USA Swimming Membership Fee $20*             WHAT Annual Fee: $60 per family

*This membership is upgradable to Premium Membership for $66.

Flex and Bronze Flex swimmers can pay $20 for two, non-personalized swim caps if they choose.

30-Day Trial

Swim unlimited practices for 30-days prior to deciding to join the swim team (sanctioned meets not included). This option is available for new members only for $75. This $75 fee can be applied to the annual membership dues if the swimmer decides to join the team at the end of the trial period.

Woodland Hills High School Swimmer

Get a jump on your training by practicing with the High School Head Coach at WHAT during the off-season. This option is available to Woodland Hills High School swimmers only for $400 and does not include club meets.

Tryouts for New Members

All swimmers new to the team, with the exception of high school and masters swimmers, require a tryout placement evaluation. Please contact Coach Walt to set up a time prior to registering for the team. Once you have been evaluated, you are welcome to register for the level recommended to you by our coaching staff.
