SWIMMER ELIGIBILITY

USA SWIMMING MEMBERS – Swimmers who have competed in a USA Swimming sanctioned meet since September 1 of the previous year and who have achieved one (1) or two (2) NAG "B" Motivational Time Standards are not eligible to compete in those events in an NWASSL Meet.  Swimmers who have achieved three (3) “B” NAG Motivational Time Standards or better in a USA Swimming Meet are not eligible to compete in NWASSL Meets.

SWIMMER AGE-UP DATE

The age of each swimmer as of June 1 will determine a swimmer’s age for the season.

TEAM MEMBERSHIP

Teams interested in participating in the NWASSL should contact Anita Parisi, AnitaParisi@sbcglobal.net by February 1 prior to the upcoming seasons.

MEETINGS

Representatives from each team will meet following the season (August or September).  This meeting is used to provide feedback on the previous season and discuss rule and format changes.

Representatives from each team will meet in January or February to discuss the upcoming season.  Teams will determine the format for the NWASSL Championship Meet (Split Divisions/Mega Champs).  The date and venue for the champs meet will also be determined.  Teams should also have an idea of when they are able to host and attend meets.

DUAL MEET SCHEDULE

Teams should submit dates that they can host to Anita Parisi, AnitaParisi@sbcglobal.net by February 1.  A tentative Meet Schedule will be sent to teams by February 21.  Any adjustments should be addressed promptly.  The goal is to have a final Meet Schedule out by March 1.
