Snow Sharks RULE Age Group STATES!
What an incredible State Swim Meet for the Flagstaff Snow Sharks! The conditions were perfect in Oro Valley and the kids swam FAST! The Flagstaff Snow Sharks placed in the overall Top 10 for the meet with the help of all our team members!
Owen W, our lone boy, swam the 100 back and went best time in his 200 Backstroke.
Sophia T did incredible for her first State meet. Contributing with the 200 Fly and a relay. Can’t wait to see what future States hold for her!
Sloane S made it back to finals in the 50 free, 50 fly and 100 free. She swam best times in all of those events. Sloane finished 6th in the 50 fly and got a Far Western cut! So Fast!
Taylor L is the Backstroke Queen. Making State cuts in the 50, 100 and 200 backstroke. She made it back to finals in all 3 events, had best times in all 3 events and finished 4th in the State in the 200 Back!
Jordyn L had an amazing short course season and swam amazing at State. She qualified for 6 events and made it back for finals in all 6 events! Jordyn finished 6th in the 100 backstroke and 5th in the 200 IM!
Victoria C dominated in the distance events. She defended her state title in the 1000 freestyle and placed 2nd in the state in the 1650 and 500 freestyle. Victoria showed grit and placed 5th in the 200 fly and 9th in the 400IM.
Kendall G had a remarkable State Meet. She is the State Champion in the 50 Fly, 100 Fly, 50 backstroke and 100 Backstroke. She finished 2nd in the 100 IM and 200 IM. She went best times in all events and made her first AAAA time in the 100 Backstroke. Kendall finished the meet with the 2nd Place High Point Award.
