Northern Lights Swim Club Lessons

* Note - for our youth and parent-tot classes there is a priority registration period of 7-10 days for our current/past participants.  During this grace period, only current and past participants will be able to register.  New registrants will receive and error message indicating that they cannot enter new students.  When the priority registration period ends, new registrants will be able to register.

To Register for Lessons/Camps:

  • Scroll down to the Group Youth Lessons, Parent Tot, Adult Learn to Swim, and/or the Private Youth Lessons bars below.
  • Choose from the available  UAA Pool or Service Pool lessons in which you are interested
  • Class Cost/Days/Times are displayed for the class(es) in which you are interested.
  • Choose the specific class time you would like your swimmer to attend and click the Register button.
  • Please note that the Insurance fee is non-refundable and there will be an additional $10 fee for all cancellations.

Parent Tot Classes - Service Pool

The NLSC Parent Tot Classes are a great way to introduce your child to the joys of being in the water! This program is designed for babies and toddlers aged 6 months to 3 years accompanied by a parent in the water.

Skills covered during lessons will include learning the correct holds, body position, breath control and submerging, floating, pulling, kicking and basic dog paddle. You will also learn safe entries and exits, survival skills, mat work and will enjoy singing songs and playing games.

Group Youth Lessons

The NLSC Learn to Swim & Stroke School program is designed to cater to kids 3 years and up who are not afraid to get in the water without a parent/guardian. The program teaches children from non-swimmers through the more skilled and advanced.
