SWIFT Swimming Emergency Procedures
  An emergency means that all swimmers and coaches need to evacuate the pool/area due to a dangerous or life-threatening situation. 
1. Give three short blasts of the whistle once informed of emergency conditions like inclement weather (lightning), contamination of pool or pool area, or injury.
2. Call for assistance (911), if necessary.
3. Give first aid if necessary.
4.Notify parents/guardians if necessary.
