Swift Swimming is a year-round Masters swim program. It presently operates in Nassau at St. Andrew’s International School. Our Masters programs has produced top swimmers that have represented The Bahamas at many International swimming competitions, including 4 Masters World Championships.
The club was formed in 1990 and is owned and run by the husband-and-wife team of Andy and Nancy Knowles. Swift was the first club in The Bahamas to be owned by its coach, which has resulted in a stable, reliable, and well-trained coaching staff.
The club is presently working with the Ministry of Education developing the Let’s Swim Bahamas National Learn-to-Swim program for all Bahamian School children. This program is currently being offered in 10 Government Primary Schools in New Providence during the school year. Our goal is for all Bahamians to Learn to Swim for Safety, Fitness & Fun.
