Emit Knowlesreceived his Swim America Award of Achievement by completing Station 10 - 300m Freestyle; 100m Backstroke, and 100m Individual Medley. Emit started working on his certificate at age 7 during a Let’s Swim Bahamas Kids Kamp in the Exumas. Over the years when Emit would come to Nassau to compete in sailing Regattas he would pass a few more Stations during a Fitness workout. Emit is pictured with Papa Andy. Well done, Emit!

Venet Bain received her Swim America Award of Achievement by completing Station 10 – 300m Freestyle, 100m Backstroke, and 100m Individual Medley. She joined the Fitness Group with Swift Swimming in March 2021 and worked consistently pass her Stations. Although Venet doesn’t say much, she is a hard worker and pleasant member of the group. Congratulations Venet!

Luke Savage started taking swimming lessons at age 5 from his Nana (Coach Nancy) whenever he was visiting The Bahamas. Luke lives in the USA where he is a member of the YMCA Rays Swim Team. He competed in his first official swim meet while Nana was visiting in January and completed his Swim America Award of Achievement during his recent visit to The Bahamas. Luke is a hard worker and loves to race and win!

Nicolas Miller has been a member of Swift Swimming since he was 4 years old. He joined our program as a Preschooler in 2017 and has finally completed his Swim America Preschool Certificate! Nicolas continues to struggle with mastering the strokes, especially backstroke. However, Coach Nancy is determined to help him pass his School Age Certificate by the end of June – candy is his motivator!

Kahlenn Foulkes received his Swim America Award of Achievement after only 8 lessons with the Let’s Swim Bahamas program. He now comes to the Fitness Group with Swift Swimming to continue working on his endurance. Kahlenn has natural ability in mastering the strokes and is always smiling during workout. Congratulations Kahlenn!

Levi Savagestarted taking swimming lessons at age 5 from his Nana (Coach Nancy) whenever he was visiting The Bahamas. Levi lives in the USA where he is a member of the YMCA Rays Swim Team. He competed in his first official swim meet while Nana was visiting in January and completed his Swim America Award of Achievement during a “snow day” off from school! Levi has mastered all 4 swimming strokes beautifully.

Olivia Savagestarted taking swimming lessons at age 5 from her Nana (Coach Nancy) whenever she was visiting The Bahamas. Olivia lives in the USA where she is a member of the YMCA Rays Swim Team. She competed in her first official swim meet while Nana was visiting in January and completed her Swim America Award of Achievement during a “snow day” off from school! Congratulations Olivia!

Arianna Miller has been a member of Swift Swimming since she was 3 years old. She joined our program as a Preschooler in 2013 and completed her Swim America Preschool Certificate in September 2017. She continued to take lessons and completed her School Age Award of Achievement Certificate in 2018. Arianna is a member of Swift Swimming Fitness Group. It has been our pleasure to work with Arianna and we look forward to watching her progress as a swimmer.

Blaine Pinder received his Swim America Award of Achievement by completing Station 10 - 300m Freestyle; 100m Backstroke, and 100m Individual Medley. Blaine started working on his certificate at age 5 in October 2020. Blaine is one of the few swimmers who can listen to what needs to be corrected in a stroke and make his body do the changes. Blaine’s favourite stroke is Breaststroke. Blaine is pictured with Coach Andy. Well done, Blaine!

Benjamin Cartwrightreceived his Swim America Award of Achievement by completing Station 10 - 300m Freestyle; 100m Backstroke, and 100m Individual Medley. Ben started joined Swift at age 3 in 2017 and started working on his Preschool certificate. After a 4-year break, Ben returned at age 7 and in less than a year has been able to complete his certificate. Ben has the highest attendance record in the Fitness Group which contributed to achieving this goal. Congratulation, Ben!
