The 2020 BC Winter Provincial Championship was hosted by Island Swimming Club on March 5-8 at Saanish Commonwealth Place. There were 42 teams, a total of 605 Provincial standards qualifiers racing at this provincial champs. Carson Wong, Nathan Li, Tommy Chung, Charles Chang, Bryan Startup and Owen Turnacliff from the Elite group represented our club to participate in this event. It was a tough meet since it was the first long course meet for us this season. Our swimmers overcame the fatigue and tried their best effort to race their events. Congratulations to Carson Wong won the Bronze medal in 50 free and also achieved Western standard on this event.  Our relay team did an excellent job by achieving personal best times and pushing our old club record from 2:02.02 to 1:54.67 in Medley relay and 1:47.17 to 1:42.12 in Free relay.
