Registering a New Swimmer (Member)

Step 1: Complete an assessment

All new swimmers (including siblings of current swimmers) must be assessed prior to registration. During the assessment, our coach will be assessing the swimmer's current ability in the water. At this time, all swimmers must be able to swim at least 25m unassisted (SK4 or higher) at age of 8 years of under.

Step 2: Apply for membership through our website (Teamunify)

You only need one account per family. If you are registering a sibling of a current swimmer, see "Registering a sibling". 

 

If you are registering for the first time, please follow the instructions below:

 

1. On the Home page, click 2022-2023 Registration

2. Read the registration instructions. 

3. Click Continue or Check the status 

4. Click Create New Account 

5. Enter your email address and date of birth 

6. Enter your contact info, billing info, the parent/guardian info, and click Continue

7. Click Add member to add new swimmers (members) and enter their information. 

8. In the Register for this Group drop-down, select the swim group that your child was assigned to during the assessment. 

9. Click Add. 

10. Read the waivers and agree to them. 

11. Click Continue. 

12. Review the account information. 

13. Click Submit Registration. 

 

Step 3: Await confirmation from the registrar 

After completing the registration, you will receive an email confirmation, and your child's registration status will be "Pending".


Once the registrar has reviewed your information and approved your registration, you will receive a confirmation email for the group you have registered.

 

Step 4: Payment information 

Along with your approval confirmation, you will receive a separate email notification on how to add your credit card payment information. 

 

This information must be received 3 days before the start of the month as our billing process charges at the start of the month.

 

Step 5: Complete and Sign the Swimming Canada Form and Gators Participation Form

After completing the Gators registration, parents will receive an email from [email protected] to confirm their Swimming Canada account information.  Parents have to follow the instructions in the email to confirm the necessary contact information and demographic questions. Parents will be required to sign the Swimming Canada Acknowledgement of Risk form electronically. Swimmer registration & insurance will not be valid until this form is signed.
