Casual Swim Coaching Staff
 

Description

We are looking for casual and on call coaches to add to our coaching team for our winter session (January 2022- June 2022). Previous coaching and athlete experience in a competitive club would be preferred. Organisational, teamwork and communication skills are a must.

A Criminal Record Check must be submitted prior to start date.

Wages are competitive, based on certifications and prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Head Coach on training plan strategy 

• Oversee training sessions 

• Demonstrate a passion for the sport and enthusiasm for the athletes.

• Commitment to assigned practice schedule

• Respect and adhere to the BCSSA Coaching Code of Ethics

• Committed to Back to Sport Plan (COVID Safety)

Preferred Qualifications
 

• NCCP Fundamentals Level 1 Swim Coach (or in progress of completion) or Community Coach Certification 

• Completion of Safe Sport Training

• Familiarity with Google Docs Suite
