The Southwest Aquatic Team (SWAT)  is an affiliated member of USA swimming Inc. and is a member of the Border Swimming Local Swimming Committee (LSC). The team is chartered as a 501(c)3 charitable organization, and is governed by an elected Board of Directors and managed by volunteer parents.

The club's purpose is to achieve more than teaching your child to swim. SWAT is more than swim classes or lessons; SWAT is teaching your swimmer(s) how to compete in athletics. The club will make every effort to encourage your swimmer(s) to participate in local swim meets. The results can be very rewarding for swimmers and parents.

SWAT is an inclusive swim club that believes in diversity, equity, and inclusion. SWAT is dedicated to creating an environment where swimmers from all abilities and backgrounds are welcomed, respected, supported and invited to fully participate. 

SWAT fosters a safe and welcoming environment that complies with Safe Sport guidelines and recommendations.  Swimming with SWAT will teach discipline, develop character, and encourage teamwork.  SWAT coaches give 100% to the swimmers and to the sport of swimming.  They never lower the bar of expectations; and they will always lift it and encourage the swimmers to aim higher.

SWAT is a swim team that gives young people the skills for a lifetime of health and enjoyment through dedication, discipline, and teamwork.
