BEST gets Runner Up! Another Strong State Meet

2018 Long Course State Championships 
Delta State University Aquatic Center, Cleveland, MS

The Biloxi Elite Swim Team just finished one of its most successful long course seasons and finished State Champion Runner Up.  It was an exciting state championship meet where the Biloxi Elite Swim Team was leading most of the meet and fell just a little short after the final session on Sunday afternoon.  The swimmers did show almost a 70% improvement in times and set over 20 team records at the meet.

The team had 11 swimmers who advanced to zone meets after state championships.  Tommy LaNasa, Evan Guichard, Cait Chandler, Gabrielle Ivey, and Jeremy Koch attended the Senior Zone meet in Huntsville, AL.  Layk Roundtree, Anthony Smith, Joseph Agler, Savanha Grimsley, Blanka Prikasky, and Lee Tao attended the Age Group Championships in Midland, TX.
