Since its formation in 1957, the El Paso Aqua Posse has become one of the most successful swim programs in Texas. The El Paso Aqua Posse boasts swimmers that range from pre-competition to Olympic Trial Qualifiers by providing an environment which allows for each swimmer to maximize their potential. EPAP is a proud and contributing member of both USA and Border Swimming.

MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to serve our community by providing a quality competitive swim program for children of all abilities. Aqua Posse is committed to promoting healthy values in a safe, fun and rewarding atmosphere while giving each child an opportunity to realize his/her full potential as an athlete and person.

VISION STATEMENT
Aqua Posse will strive to be the guiding force for aquatics in the Border Swimming Association and the El Paso area. We are committed to establishing a safe, supportive environment for swimmers, parents and coaches. Leadership and resources will be provided for continuity among various pools while maintaining open communication. Each swimmer, as an important team member, will be given the direction to develop self confidence, discipline and life skills through positive reinforcement. We will create an atmosphere of wholesome competition that will encourage team spirit, friendship and fun in a continued tradition of excellence.

Aqua Posse shall be known for its enthusiasm, pride and unity tempered by graciousness and respect for all. Let our swimmers, parents and coaches encourage and speak well of each other and our competitors. Let our swimmers learn to accept praise and victory with modesty and defeat with dignity. Let our team always conduct itself in a manner which officials, parents and meet sponsors will always welcome us.
