Coaches and Directors
Coach Todd has returned to EPAP after spending 11 years in the corporate world. He was formerly the Head Age Group Coach for EPAP from 1996-2007. During that time, Coach Todd produced many TAGS and Junior Nationals qualifiers.
Todd grew up swimming for EPAP under Coach Leo Cancellare. He was a four time All American at Coronado High School before going on to swim for the University of Southern California.
Todd is married to Jocelyn who was introduced to him by Coach Leo. They have three sons: Magnus, Raif, and Reece, all of whom swim for the blue and gold.
Jack White has logged three decades with El Paso Aqua Posse - 6 years as a swimmer, and 24 as a coach. Over that span of time, Coach Jack has so many memorable moments that he cannot pick just one! Among his favorite moments throughout his coaching career are the numerous high point TAGs winners, coaching a Junior National 100 fly champion, sending 2 EPAP swimmers to the Olympics to swim for the Mexican team, and sending two local swimmers to the Olympic trials in 2000.
The kids are what keep Coach Jack coming back. His quiet, encouraging way is complimented by his disciplined dedication. Coach Jack shares his strong work ethic with all of the older Aqua Posse swimmers which leaves the younger swimmers in awe and gives them a goal to work toward: swimming in “Jack’s group.”
When he’s not coaching EPAP, Coach Jack is Head Coach for the Cathedral High swim team where he also teaches Social Studies. He is married and has two sons, one of which just began attending UTPB with a swimming scholarship!
