Jamie Glover

Senior, Junior Advanced

This is Jamie's nineth season with FAC.

Jamie grew up in California in Moreno Valley and Chico! Currently lives in Rancho Cucamonga with her wonderful family, husband Rick, daughter Emma (16), and son Ricky (14).

Jamie always loved swimming. When she was five, she convinced her mom that it would be a good idea to drive her to swim practice every day. She obliged and Jamie caught the swimming bug. Jamie swam in high school, college, and as an adult on a Masters swim team. Now she coaches because she can’t stay away from the chlorine! Yes, it is her perfume.

Jamie attended three colleges: Chico State University, Louisiana State University, and Western Governors University. She fell in love with learning and ultimately decided to be a teacher. Currently teaches sixth grade in San Bernardino.

Jamie’s background and passion for teaching and swimming have collided at FAC where she found a second family with wonderful swimmers, amazing coaching staff, and awesome board members. She is in her 4th year of coaching.

Sometimes in life, the culmination of everything you have fun doing comes together and you are lucky enough to get to spend your time pursuing your passion while positively impacting the youth of today. Jamie feels fortunate to be able to serve FAC swimmers and she is grateful for the opportunity.
