Forster and Payne reach podium in Buffalo!

14 members of the BAC Senior group are competing in Buffalo, New York this weekend at the Star Swimming Invitational. The meet is Short Course Yards and features the top swimmers from North Western New York, along with 3 Canadian teams. The competition is an exciting opportunity, allowing our athletes to race stiff competitors in an unfamiliar environment. 

The racing kicked off tonight with the 1650 yard free - better known as the mile! We had 6 athletes in action and all 6 had excellent performances, swimming under their entry times which were converted from their best times in the 1500m free. Leading the way were Abby Forster and Hunter Payne, both of whom won bronze medals! Also in action were Carter Scheffel - 7th, Bruno Garb - 13th, Austin Godwaldt - 16th and Josh McDougall - 21st.
