Outstanding BAD Performances at WOSA Short Course!

The Western Ontario Swim Association ("WOSA") Short Course swim meet got off to a fantastic start with Owen Beresh earning his first OYJ time in 1500 Free with a time of 17:58.74 and earning a Silver medal.  This performance was followed by Ava Pasqualone who took 10.65 seconds from her 200 Free with great turns and awesome under waters!

Finals were a success with Jayden Toews, Maximillan Vooro, Morgan Pequin, Maggy Metodieva and Saiva Dhillon qualifying.  Maggy was just shy of achieving OYJ times in 2 events and Saiva achieved personal bests in 100 Fly and 200 Back!

Congratulations also to our swimmers who made Age Group Festivals – Samantha Cosgriffe, Jessie Kruse and Matthew Mansoor – who will join the team in Windsor.

And a special mention to Edward Zhang with a new Club Record time of 32.18 in 50 Breast, surpasing a time of 32.21 that has stood for close to 20 years!

• Marica Smith – Silver in 100 Breast
• Edward Zhang – Silver in 50 Breast and 200 IM; Bronze in 200 Back
• Owen Beresh – Silver in 1500 Free
• Katie Cosgriffe – Gold in 200 Back and earned an OYJ time
• Megan Donnelly – Gold in 400 IM
• George Radic – Gold in 400 IM
