Meet Information:

  • NO SPECTATORS will be allowed at the meet, as swimmers will be sitting upstairs in order to not exceed deck capacity
  • Swimmers should leave the facility as soon as they are done their last race (unless their parent is volunteering at the meet)
  • Please pick up your swimmer upon the completion of their last race - see attached heat sheets and schedule of events
  • masks must be worn at all times – swimmers should bring deck shoes for behind the blocks, and masks can be placed on their shoes while they are in the pool (swimmers may wish to bring a ziplock bag for storage)

 

SEATING AREA FOR SWIMMERS

While not racing, swimmers are required to sit in the following locations:

On Deck – on the benches behind coaches tables

Upstairs Bleachers –

Shallow end

Upstairs Bleachers –

Deep end

RACING PROCEDURES

  • the marshalling area will be located in the shallow end
  • please do not come to the marshalling area until your heat is called (we will marshal 2-4 heats at a time)
  • only ONE heat of swimmers may be behind the blocks
  • two additional heats of swimmers will sit on chairs along the wall under the scoreboard
  • when a heat of swimmers begin their race, the next heat may immediately proceed behind the blocks
  • there will be approximately 15 seconds in between each race  - we will be starting over the top (clearing the pool after the next race has started – except for backstroke)
  • after each race, put your mask on and exit the area behind the blocks as quickly as possible, and return to your designated waiting area for your next race
  • swimmers may use the stairwell in the shallow end area to go up and down stairs

 

OFFICIALS

  • all Officials are requested to join the Virtual Briefing on Thursday, March 3, from 6:30-700 pm, using the following link:

  • Officials are asked to check in 20 minutes before the start time of the session and wait in the front lobby
  • Timers are asked to wear a white shirt and stroke and turn judges are asked to wear a red shirt
