Casey was a long time swimmer with the Hamilton Aquatic Club and the Guelph Marlin Aquatic Club. Her graduate and undergraduate programs specialized in Aboriginal Education.

I understand the importance of looking at each student’s, or swimmer’s, needs through a holistic view; mental, emotional, spiritual and physical, looking at an individual’s “whole being”. Through my experience working on Lakehead Public School’s Occasional Teacher’s list, I have learned to embrace the individuality of each student and their unique behavior and learning styles. Being a coach, occasional teacher, tutor, and volunteer has prepared me for a future in coaching.
