Carleton Place WATER DRAGONS 2020 Sponsorship
Our Club - CPWD
The Carleton Place Water Dragons (CPWD) swim club is a non-profit, volunteer-run, organization that has been an active part of the Carleton Place community for over 25 years.

Our membership draws from Carleton Place and surrounding communities and we are very proud of the strong and positive culture of our team.
Swimming teaches self-discipline, sportsmanship and commitment. We foster youth fitness, sportsmanship and friendship for our members; no matter their level from ages 8 to 18. This is somewhere that kids can feel free to be themselves. Our dedicated coaching staff teach not only the sport of swimming but promote and emphasize mental health, individual growth, goal setting and self-confidence - skills that our athletes will carry with them for the rest of their lives.

Our Successes
Our small but mighty team has had some great successes recently. Some highlights include:
●    Our first swimmer ever to attend Canadian Trials, qualifying for Canadian Olympic Trials.
●    We had a swimmer attend the World Deaf Swimming Championships in Brazil.
●    Our Head Coach was awarded a mentorship with Don Burton through the Canadian Swim Coaches Association of Canada, at the Ontario Swim Academy.
●    We have increased the number of our swimmers qualifying for Regional Championships, Ontario Youth Junior Championships and Ontario Swimming Championships.

We host two swim meets each year locally in Carleton Place and we are proud to have a reputation for hospitality, team spirit and organization.

“Our goal is to successfully support each generation of young athletes in reaching their full potential by ensuring a thriving, healthy swim club remains available in our community.”

Partnering to Support our Journey
Your dollars go towards:
●    The opportunity for swimmers to compete at swim meets.
●    Training equipment that would otherwise be cost prohibitive.
●    Recognizing athletes for their successes throughout the year and at year-end.

We wouldn’t be able to keep serving our team and our community without important partners like you.

Supporting our Sponsors
CPWD gives back to our sponsors by:
●    Tax receipts provided for sponsorship amounts of $100 or above.
●    Knowing you or your business support a community club that promotes personal growth, friendships, sporting behaviour and a healthy lifestyle.
●    Growing your business and brand in our community by backing youth activity.
●    Organized team activities at the sponsor’s location.
●    Promoting your products and services within our membership and community.

CPWD would be happy to start a partnership at any level! If you wish to sponsor a different amount than shown above, we are happy to discuss these options with you.

Thank you for your support!
