Welcome to the Carleton Place Water Dragons Electronic Registration platform for our September 2020-June 2021 swim season!
We are pleased to offer electronic payment processing and registration. The process is simple for both new and returning members. You will get access to your own private account that will enable you to easily view account charges/balances, declare for swim meets, sign-up for jobs, see your children's swim time histories, maintain your own contact information, and more.

Policy for the 2020/2021 season requires that any swimmer resigning their membership from the club must provide a 30-day written notice to the President, Treasurer and Registrar as per
the policy that can be found in the Handbook. Incurred or billed SNC/Swim-Ontario Insurance Fees, Team Fundraising Fees, Team
Fees, Volunteer Fees, Meet Fees and any purchased equipment can unfortunately not be refunded. No refunds for Swim Fees will
be issued after December 31, 2020.

CPWD 2020-2021 FEE SCHEDULE (version 12 Aug 2020)
Fees are comprised of Insurance Fees, Team Fundraising Fees, Team Fees, Volunteer Fees, Swim Fees, and Meet Fees.

Insurance Fees are mandatory SNC/Swim-Ontario charged fees as outlined in the table below, based on age of swimmer and if
competitive or not.

Team Fundraising Fees will be mandatory and billed to accounts on a team fundraising situational basis (as an example only: It might be
decided that for a particular fundraising activity books of fundraising raffle tickets will be $10 and each family might be obligated to sell a
minimum of 15 books. Accounts would then be charged $150 up-front as books of tickets are made available for distribution).
The details of each situational team fundraising fee would be decided upon by Board of Directors vote at an executive meeting related to the decision for
each fundraising activity, based upon consultation and advance notification with the membership. General executive meetings are always
open to the entire membership to attend.

Team Fees are mandatory up-front fees to help cover overall team operating expenses. A mandatory team fee of $300 per family will be
billed to accounts in two equal installments (in September and in January).

Volunteer Fees (1 fee per family based upon the highest level registered swimmer) as outlined in the table below will be billed, half on
December 1 and the other half on May 1, for families who do not meet their volunteer commitment. There are many opportunities for
earning volunteer points such as attending officiating training, helping with fundraising, fundraising contributions beyond minimums, helping
for a committee, etc.
In general, 1 volunteer point equals one hour of your time or $10 value donated. For more information on volunteer
fees and opportunities, please check the Handbook and the Volunteer Page on the cpwd.ca website.

Families are required to add to the base of CPWD officials by volunteering for officiating each year.
For the 2020/2021 season, all competitive families are required to have at least one family member (eligible parent, guardian or sibling of swimmers) fully qualified as a
timer. If a family already has a registered official qualified as a timer or above, the family will be expected to progress one next level higher
(including completion of applicable level 2 clinic, on-deck shadow and evaluations) until they have acquired all level 2 qualifications. The
officiating requirements will be adjusted based on the evolving and transition of COVID-19 protocols. For more information about officiating,
please check the Handbook and the Officiating Page on the cpwd.ca website.

Swim Fees are mandatory up-front registration fees to help cover the overall cost of delivering the swim program based on the swim group
that swimmers are registered in. Swim fees are as outlined in the table below.

Meet Fees will be billed on a situational basis, based on fees required for participation in swim meets as dictated by the meet organizers
and/or the circumstances of CPWD costs related to the meet. Meet fees will be billed when swimmers commit to participate in swim meets
based on the meet commitment deadlines. The details of meet fees will be published well in advance of deadlines for commitment to attend
each meet.
