20 January 2020 (Repsol Sports Centre, Calgary) - The Pugsley’s Plunge happened this past weekend at the Repsol Sports Centre and Cascade sure did everyone proud with their fine swimming. Addison Butler broke the provincial record twice in the boys 14 years-old 100IM - ending up with a 59.67 prelims record & and a 59.47 record done at night in the finals. Tonight we had the 200m butterfly, 100m backstroke, 400m freestyle, 50m freestyle, 200m breaststroke, and 50m butterfly. 08 December 2019 (Atlanta, Georgia) - The last day of racing at the US Open was another solid day for the Cascade Swim Club and their three swimmers at the meet. All three swam in the 200m backstroke event and had some of their strongest results of the weekend. Ingrid Wilm and Ella Varga swam prelims of the event in 2:19.41 and 2:18.61 respectively. 06 Dec 2019 (Pointe Claire, PQ) - Day 2 in and around Montreal saw more great swims from Cascade including one, get this, brand new senior Olympic Trials qualifier! Liam Weaver in the 50m freestyle. The meet is short course heats and long course finals and so in the 50 prelims Liam was a solid 23.58 swim and looked very good.
