Performance Stream Time Requirements

Commitment Contract APS and APJ

The goal of the FAST Performance Stream (FPS) is to provide an environment where athletes can prepare to perform at the highest level of their ability.

To participate as an FPS athlete, swimmers must demonstrate an understanding and acceptance of the rigour and intensity of training and performance expected by the coaches. A positive attitude and attendance are essential; therefore athlete/family commitment is a requirement.

Athletes in the FPS may be moved to the FAS Stream if they do not meet their group’s practice and swim meet commitment requirements.

Any swimmer in the FPS who is/becomes injured will be placed on a Modified Training Program (MTP) and may not swim in the FPS until fully recovered.
