Congratulations to Wells Ginzer who was selected as 1 of 300 domestic swimmers to participate at the

Fina Swimming World Cup in Toronto (28-30 Oct, 2022)

A very intimidating but inspiring experience and Wells really stepped up to perform well and achieve 5 best times in the 50 Fly, 100 Fly, 100 IM, 50 Back & 50 Free and 3 new club records in the 100 Fly, 50 Back & 50 Free.

Wells got to swim with some of the best swimmers in the World to include Chad Le Clos and Kyle Chalmers, Josh Liendo and of course alumni Maverick swimmers Finlay Knox and Kennedy Loewen were also competing.

Finlay swam to a silver finish in the 200 IM in 1:52.75.   He is also going in third into the Final tonight for the 200IM in Indianapolis.

The Fina Swimming World Cup is a series of 3 weekends in a row.  It started in Berlin (21-23 Oct) then Toronto (28-30 Oct) and this weekend in Indianapolis (3-5 Nov).
