Catherine Minic made the solo trip to Toronto for the Canadian Swimming Championships.

At her first senior competition Catherine raced against the finest swimmers from all over Canada who were all attempting to qualify for the World Championship team!

Racing each morning Catherines goal was to achieve a second swim in any final the same evening!

After 7 swims that produced near best or personal best time Catherine achieved that goal and qualifed for the 200m Butterfly B final.

That evening was a great opportunity to learn racing the best Butterfly swimmers in Canada. Catherine did the Piranhas proud and finished 9th in the race, 5th Junior and 17th overall.
