Senior White training schedule

Senior White training is based on Swimming Canada's Long Term Athlete Development Plan (LTAD) Stage 5 - Train to Compete.  It is designed for swimmers who are ready to train in a group environment.   At the Senior White level it is expected that swimmers will attend competitions as well as team functions throughout the season. Swimmers who qualify may also travel out of province to swim at competitions such as Age Group Championships, or Senior Nationals.

Group Standard: Maintain 70% or more attendance, Assessment by coaching staff, age 13 and over & follows the swimmers code of conduct.

The focus of Senior White is to build a passion and love of the sport of swimming.  Senior White swimmers will improve their physical fitness, and build endurance while being taught proper stroke techniques, and improved training habits.  Senior White swimmers will also train to improve their test set times in order to qualify and compete at regionals, provincials, and nationals in short course, long course, and open water settings.
