Junior White training is based on Swimming Canada's Long Term Athlete Development Plan (LTAD) Stage 3 - Learn to Train.  At the Junior White level it is expected the swimmers will attend competitions as well as team functions throughout the season.   Junior White may also be given the opportunity to compete in the second half of the year in 50 m pools (long course) instead of 25 m pools (short course).

Group Standard: Maintain 50% or more attendance, Assessment by coaching staff, age 13 and under & follows the swimmers code of conduct.

The focus of Junior White is to build a passion and love of the sport of swimming.  Junior White swimmers will improve their physical fitness, and build endurance while being taught proper stroke techniques, and improved training habits.  Junior White swimmers will also improve their test set times with the intention of progressing to JR Blue.
